A Black-tailed Prairie Dog (Cynomys ludovicianus) takes a look around outside of its burrow/hole in dog town, Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan - the prairie dog is listed under the Species at Risk Act (SARA) with a status of Special Concern - its only range in Canada is in the Frenchman River Valley in Southern Saskatchewan
