Gray Ratsnake (Pantherophis spiloides), also called Eastern Ratsnake, coiled up with its tongue out in Murphy's Point Provincial Park, Ontario. COSEWIC has designated the two Canadian populations of this Canada's largest snake an Endangered species (Carolinian Population) and Threatened (Great Lakes / St. Lawrence population).
